Restaurant flop of Cascais – Nice Restaurant on a very beautiful spot. But – here are just a couple of details about our visit in December 2009.
Beginning with the welcome… We did wait at least 10-15 minutes until a waiter did recognize us (me) – even than first we got only one set of cutlery, before they realized that we are two people. Now it comes to the order. We did order one bottle of white wine and one bottle of mineral water (without gas). What we got was mineral water WITH GAS. Serving the wine – at least 3-4 times while they did refill our glasses the waiter did spill some wine. Now the starter came – looked really great and we totally enjoyed the starter, I would even like to enjoy the starter a bit longer – But I couldn’t, suddenly the waiter took our starter and our bread away. Never happened to me before! The main course itself was also great. My fish was excellent and really tasty, but my girlfriends “DAILY SPECIAL” did not really stay long in her stomach.
After all Ive to say our resume is not to positve – I guess there are better places to watch the sunset. Not to forget that we did spend almost 100 Euro for this desaster!
